Pen and Cob is the brasserie of the Bedford Swan Hotel on the Embankment, serving a broad menu from small plates to steaks. Its wine list is arranged by style, with more than half poured by the glass and a good run of sparkling wines, though the buying leans on familiar names. It suits groups and casual diners who want an easy glass to match whatever they order.
