The Restaurant Guide for Wine Lovers
Ramore Wine Bar
We assessed Ramore Wine Bar in July 2026 from the menu and wine list as they stood then. Dishes and bottles move on; how to drink well here changes far more slowly. We name bottles from the list we saw and say what to reach for by style, so the advice outlasts the list. Once you are seated, At the Table in the Vinealto app reads the list in front of you.
Ramore Wine Bar is a busy, casual harbour restaurant of steaks, seafood, burgers and heat-forward plates, wrapped around a wine list far more serious than the room suggests. Its programme reaches from an honest by-the-glass house tier up to a genuine cellar (a classed-growth Bordeaux flight, premium Loire and Burgundy whites and a Champagne ladder) that elevates the steaks and the seafood even as the chilli-led plates ask less of it. It will most reward a table that comes for a good steak and wants to drink a properly grown-up bottle beside it, without leaving the entry-level drinker behind.
The full assessment — the wine programme, the pairings that lift a plate, and how the room reads for a wine lover — is for subscribers.
