We assessed Veeno in July 2026 from the menu and wine list as they stood then. Dishes and bottles move on; how to drink well here changes far more slowly. We name bottles from the list we saw and say what to reach for by style, so the advice outlasts the list. Once you are seated, At the Table in the Vinealto app reads the list in front of you.

Veeno is a national Italian wine bar pouring the wines of a single Sicilian family estate alongside spuntino boards and a short menu of pizza and pasta. The wine programme is coherent and genuinely central, welcoming and easy to drink from, but narrow: strong on its own Sicilian story and thin on anything beyond it. It will suit a relaxed group who want honest Sicilian wine by the glass and a plate of something to share, rather than a drinker chasing range or a serious cellar.
