The Restaurant Guide for Wine Lovers
Wreck Bistro
We assessed Wreck Bistro in June 2026 and this review is based on the food menu and wine list at the time of the review. As menus and wine lists change, we name styles in order for the information to remain more useful as menus change. If things have slipped you can use the Vinealto Dining app including accessing an up to date reading using 'At the Table' from the wine list in front of you in the restaurant. How we assess
Wreck Bistro is a modern British and European bistro on Seel Street, the former Wreckfish, where a specific wine is printed against every dish on the menu. The wine programme earns its standing on that integration and on an honest, by-the-glass-led list closed by a complete small-measure fortified and dessert shelf, held back only by the absence of stated vintages and of a true off-dry white for the spicier plates. It will most reward the diner who comes to eat well and let the menu choose the glass, and who treats the printed pairings as the genuinely useful tool they are.

Middle Eastern
Maray on Bold Street is a small plates restaurant cooking Middle Eastern dishes for sharing. Its short list draws on the wine countries behind the food, from Lebanon to Georgia, and pours every wine by the glass. It suits groups who want to share mezze and try unfamiliar grapes without committing to a bottle.
